A certain ‘special’ birthday!
I was looking for a country no more than 3.5hrs from the UK, served by a range of airlines with flights from London or the Northwest (Manchester/Liverpool), reasonable climate for the end of February, history, walking and good food for a celebration with 8 family and friends. Add to this list lovely accommodation – 4 double bedrooms all ensuite, easy walking distance to restaurants and aview! Did I find this? Yes, I certainly did! Valletta on the lovely island of Malta! I will admit that I usually plan my trips myself- flights, accommodation, restaurants etc myself. But this was to be a special holiday with close family and friends and I wanted it ‘just right’. So, I sought the help of Gary at Luxury Valletta and I was very impressed. From the planning stage in the UK to the assistance in Malta the service was fantastic. There as a good range of accommodation to choose from and the villa we stayed in was fabulous. We used Luxury Valletta to book an exceptional private visit to a winery and finding us a restaurant that could serve us at 2230 on the day of our arrival! or the special dinner, Luxury Valletta recommended some great sounding restaurants and we decided to eat at Simon Rogan’s Ion – a Michelin 1 star which was excellent and all arrangements sorted for us by Gary at Luxury Valletta. The local representative Nadine and her team were wonderful. The representative was there at 9pm at night to welcome us to our villa and checked up regularly to make sure that all was well. Would I recommend Malta – oh yes! Would I trust my holiday arrangements to Gary, Nadine and Luxury Valletta – certainly.
